Curious by nature.
Rigorous by practice.

I’ve spent the better part of my career helping teams make sense of complexity.

Not by adding more process, but by asking better questions – then creating the conditions to answer them. Over time, I’ve found that most product challenges aren’t caused by a lack of intelligence or effort. They come from misalignment, incomplete understanding, or decisions made before the problem is clear.

That’s where I like to work.

My approach combines mixed methods research, empathetic facilitation, and design chops. I use qualitative and quantitative methods to understand how people actually think and behave, then bring that insight into structured conversations where teams can see it together, challenge their assumptions, and move forward with shared understanding.

Research isn't something that lives in a report. Its value shows up when it impacts how decisions get made – when it reduces uncertainty, sharpens focus, and helps teams act with confidence. Sometimes that looks like a study. Sometimes it looks like a workshop. More often it’s both.

At its best, this creates alignment between business and design that doesn’t need to be negotiated. Letting evidence guide decisions is itself a business decision—one that reduces risk and clarifies where to invest. My role is to help teams generate that evidence and use it well.

Over the years, the tools have changed. The pace has accelerated. AI is reshaping how we gather and synthesize information... but the questions that matter haven’t changed much:

  • What problem are we really trying to solve?

  • Who are we solving it for?

  • What do they actually need – not what we assume they need?

  • And what’s the clearest next step forward?

I’m at my best in environments where those questions are hard to answer, where the stakes are real, and where clarity can unlock meaningful progress.

  • Facilitated a design sprint with Avianca that contributed to a $2.4M NavData agreement by aligning stakeholders around a research-backed direction.

  • Designed and facilitated 50+ cross-functional workshops that revived at-risk initiatives, and accelerated decision-making across aviation platforms.

  • Supported massive Global Data Mgmt modernization (see the case study) at Jeppesen, helping teams establish a shared view of a complex system and align on an AI-enabled future.

  • Integrated mixed-method research into product R&D, validating or sunsetting initiatives early and avoiding unnecessary development investment.

  • Led a high-impact sprint considered pivotal to United Airlines advancing a $20M+ initiative, exceeding objectives and prompting requests for extended collaboration.

  • Recognized as a Boeing Designated Expert for Voice of Customer research and strategic facilitation.
